Ford along with many other manufactures have began transitioning from the usual timing belt system to a new design. This design involves the rubber Cambelt being submerged in Engine Oil.

In testing it proved to have longevity, help reduce emissions and even extend service intervals. Unfortunately, in practice this isn't the case at all, we have personally seen these belts fail at as little as 35,000 miles.

We Care Car Repair has invested heavily in the correct tooling to ensure we can carry out replacing the belt's and all associated items to the highest possible standard.

Most performance orientated petrol engines use direct port injection as a form of fuel delivery. However, one downside to direct port injection means oil vapours from the PCV system are not being washed into the cylinders but instead building up on the intake ports and valves causing an excessive build up of carbon restricting the engines performance.

We have equipment which allows us to safely remove these large deposits of carbon build up and restore performance, fuel economy and rectify any rough running issues your engine may be suffering from.
