Unfortunately, a vehicles clutch is a wear and tear item and without it the vehicle wouldn't be able to move.

 

A good indication of a worn or wearing clutch is how high the engagement point is on the clutch pedal, if its towards the top of the pedal travel this could mean the clutch assembly is wearing towards the end of its usage.
